Pool Managers

The Woodberry Swim Club proudly announces the promotion of Jessie Rys to the position of Pool Manager.  She is a veteran lifeguard, serving the past two seasons as the Head Lifeguard.  Jessie recently passed NYS Department of Health required training as a Certified Pool Operator and has this to say: “I look forward to providing club members and their guests with a summer full of fun activities in a safe environment at our newly renovated pool”.

 

Ms. Rys graduated Magna Cum Laude from Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education.  She was awarded “Major of the Year” honors by the New York State governing body of physical education teachers and associated professionals. She is the Assistant Field Hockey Coach at SUNY Cortland; where she is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Outdoor Recreation.
